Layout "Ocean memories"

Hello!Here is a layout I've made recently.

I chose a Captain page from SeaSide collection by Authentique because I like it's deep navy color. I gessoed it, made a texture with Tim Holtz stencil and modeling paste. After spraying and splattering the page with some colors I did some embossing. VoilĂ  - my background is ready!

Under the photo-pad I glued some cheese-clothes and different fabrics. I spent a lot of time playing with embellishments.
Here some close-ups:

All the shells that were used for this layout were brought from Atlantic ocean coast in France, where we spent our last vacations. I collected them with my children, so they capture a lot of memories for me :)With this page I would like to enter into the challenges:

Purple Multi-layer card

Hi, there!

Today I want to share a purple multi-layer card with you.
I love purple colors so it was a pleasure to work with.
All in all I did thee layers of paper, a layer of tulle fabric and a bunch of embellishments.

I curled up and distressed some layers of paper. Here is a tip: you can easily curl up any type of paper by spraying a bit of water on it - that will damage fibers of paper and after you can do anything you want with it, but be careful not to rip it because the paper become fragile.
Yes, I know the card turned out pretty bulky. But that is exactly what I like! :) when you are holding it in your hands you feel something...you want to touch it, to explore it from different angles. Of course it's not for mailing ;)
But it wasn't a problem for me, because I gave it personally (in an envelope).

Have a good day!

Steampunk Wall Calendar

Hello! I am so glad I have a possibility to share my creations with you! Finally!!!
I will start from the project that I really love!

It has been a while since I created this Wall Calendar. It was just like a splash of inspiration!

In the beginning I covered two thick chipboards with Prima's paper. Then I decorated two corners with embossed black cardstock and die-cut a bunch of gearwheels.
I used a lot of metal and wooden embellishments. I LOVE metal, I believe it gives a power to projects! Oh, yes - I glued old clock mechanisms on 2015 and on the owl ;)
To put the finishing touches to my Calendar I used a gold wax that brings a metal effect to a whole project.

I printed calendar pages (one month per page) on the thick paper and distressed them.
To put my project together I punched the holes with my Crop-A-Dile and fastened the Calendar with metal rings.

I hope you enjoyed my Steampunk Wall Calendar. I will highly appreciate your feedback.
